Beverly Ifunaya Bassey is an award winning Nigerian Film, Television and Stage Actress. She came into limelight and gained prominence in the 2010 film Home in Exile. In 2010, she won the Most Promising Talent Award at the Best of Nollywood Awards, and in 2011, she won the Fast Rising Actress Award at the City People Entertainment Awards. In 2013, she began starring as Yaya on Africa’s biggest soap, “Tinsel”.
Born on April 17, 1989, in London, United Kingdom, Beverly Naya hails from, Ibuzo, Delta State, Nigeria. She studied Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology from Brunel University, and also hold a degree in Scriptwriting and Filmmaking from Roehampton University, London. Beverly began acting at 17 while studying Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology at Brunel University.
