Sambasa Nzeribe is an award winning Nigerian actor known for ‘’A Soldier’s Story’’ (2015), ‘’Out of Luck’’ (2015), ‘’Just Not Married’’ (2016), ‘’The Wedding Party’’ (2016), and ‘’Slow Country’’ (2017). In 2016, he won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the 4th Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for his role in ‘’A Soldier’s Story’’, and in 2017, he won the Best Actor in a Drama at the 5th Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for his role in ‘’Slow Country’’.

Born Chiedozie Sixtus Nzeribe on February 14, Nzeribe grew up in Isolo, Lagos State. Growing up, Nzeribe was active with the drama and choir groups of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Isolo, where his mother served as a drama teacher and choir instructor. He studied Creative Art at the University of Lagos on the Orphans Scholarship Scheme of the Catholic Women Organization, after the demise of his parents.

Nzeribe came into limelight with a breakthrough performance as ‘Suku’ in ‘’A Mile from Home’’ (2013). He is known for ‘’A Soldier’s Story’’ (2015), ‘’Out of Luck’’ (2015), ‘’Just Not Married’’ (2016), ‘’The Wedding Party’’ (2016), ‘’Hotel Choco’’ (2016), ‘’Tatu’’ (2017), ‘’My Wife and I’’ (2017), ‘’Slow Country’’ (2017), ‘’Crushed’’ (2018), ‘’Low Lifes and High Hopes’’ (2018), ‘’Fantastic Numbers’’ (2018), and ‘’Trials of Mape’’ (2018), ‘’The Ghost and The Tout’’ (2018).

Nzeribe’s name, Sambasa, is an acronym for ‘Surviving and Maintaining Balance Against Societal Aggression’. The name was birthed from the actor’s philosophy of life.
