Uche Jombo is an award winning Nigerian Actress, Producer, Screenwriter and Director. She came into limelight in Fidelis Duker’s film “Visa to Hell” (2000). In 2010, Uche Jombo won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Best of Nollywood Awards for her role in Vivian Ejike’s 2009 film, “Silent Scandal”, and in 2011, she received Best Actress award at the Exquisite Lady of the Year (ELOY) Awards for her role in “Damage”. In 2013, Uche Jombo won Best Actress Award at the Afrca International Film Festival.
Born Uche Nnenne Jombo, on December 28, 1979, in Abriba, Abia State. Uche Jombo holds degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Calabar, and Computer Programming from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State.
Since her debut in 2000, Uche Jombo has risen to an enviable position as a filmmaker, spreading her creative tentacles before and behind the screen.
