Patience Ozokwor, (born March 25, 1958) is an award winning Nigerian Actress widely known for her portrayal of devious characters. She made her acting debut in 1998, and rose to prominence in the 1999 film, “Authority”. She won the Ghana Movie Awards for Best Actress-Africa Collaboration in 2012, and 2013. In 2014, she won Best Actress in a Supporting Role at 10th Africa Movie Academy Award for her role in “After the Proposal”; and was honored with a Nigerian Centenary Award by the Nigerian Government.
Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as Mama G, was born in Ngwo, Enugu State. She attended Abimbola Gibson Memorial School, Lagos; Afikpo Teachers Training College; and Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Enugu, where she studied Fine and Applied Arts
