A prince flirts around with maidens in the town and this comes to the attention of his father, the king, who gives him a deadline to choose a wife before a customary festival usually held for the prince's marriage takes place. His quest for true love begins and he eventually falls in love with an outsider which is strongly against the traditions of their land.
