Judith Audu is a Nigerian Film and Television Actress, and Producer. She made her acting debut in 2004, in the TV series, “One Love”. In 2014, she won Best Actress at the In-Short Film Festival for her role in Akin Harrison’s short film, “Alpha Mom”. In that same year, she debuted as a producer in the short film, “Not Right”, which earned her a nomination at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award. In 2016, Judith produced her first feature film, “Just Not Married”, which earned her the award for Best Actress at the 2016 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards. The film, “Just Not Married”, was among the 8 Nigerian films selected for screening at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. Judith is the founder of Judith Audu Productions.

Born, Judith Emike Audu in Lagos, on July 1, to Late Naval Officer, Audu Ali Audu and Gift Salamat Audu. Judith Audu has an older brother, Franklin, and a younger brother, Abdulmalik. She attended Navy Town Primary School and Navy Town Secondary School in Ojo, Lagos, and, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and a Masters degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos.

Judith Audu began her acting career on stage in the University of Lagos, where she was a member of the renowned theatre group, Theatre 15. In 2004, during the University of Lagos ten month strike, Judith auditioned and got a role in Tajudeen Adepetu’s TV series, “One Love”; Femi Ogedengbe’s feature film, “Tears of the Ghetto”; and a cameo in Izu Ojukwu’s film, “Hammer”. At the end of the strike, Judith returned to school to complete her studies, taking a hiatus from acting. She returned in 2011 as a Gynecologist in Mnet Tinsel. On television, Judith Audu owns credits in: “One Love” (2004); “Funtime” (2006); “House Apart” (2010); “The Journey” (2012); “Emerald” (2013); “Seekers” (2013); “Burning Spears” (2013); “Comfort Zone” (2013); “Olorogun and Company” (2013); and “Tales of Eve” (2015). On the big screen, Judith’s acting credit includes: Yes I Don’t (2013); Switch (2013); Love is Overrated (2013); Stopping Khloe (2014); Out of Fire (2014); Mama Osaro Goes Kinky (2015); Amara (2017). She also starred in the short films: 4 Walls (2013); Alpha Mom (2014), for which she won the award for Best Actress at the 2014 In-Short Film Festival; A Day with Death (2014) and MO (2017).

Under Judith Audu Productions, Judith owns credit as a producer in “Not Right” (2014), a short film on domestic violence for which she received an Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award nomination; “Just Not Married” (2016), which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, and for which she received the award for Best Actress at the 2016 Best of Nollywood Award; “Stormy Hearts” (2017); and “Obsession” (2017).

Judith Audu married Morten Foght on July 1, 2011.
