Joselyn Dumas is an award winning Ghanaian Actress and Producer. She came into limelight in a cameo role in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s film, “The Perfect Picture” (2009). In 2014, Joselyn Dumas co-produced “Love or Something Like That” and “V Republic” under her production company name, Virgo Sun Company Limited. In 2014, Joselyn Dumas won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Ghana Movie Awards, for her role in “A Northern Affair”, and in 2014, she won Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Ghana Movie Awards for her role in “Love or Something Like That”. In 2017, she won Best Actress Award at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival for her role in “Potato Potahto”.

Born Joselyn Canfor Dumas on August 31, 1980. Joselyn was solely raised by her mother in Accra, Ghana. She attended Morning Star School for her primary education and Archbishop Porter Girls High School for her secondary education. She then moved to the United States of America from where she holds a degree in Administrative Law.

Joselyn Dumas gained wide recognition as Jennifer Adams in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s film series, “Adams Apples” (2011-2012), and in 2013, she reprised her role as Jennifer Adams in the spin-off Television series of “Adams Apples”. Joselyn Dumas own acting credits in “A Sting in a Tale” (2009), “Bed of Roses” (2011), “Peep” (2012), “V Republic” (2014), “A Northern Affair” (2014), “Love or Something Like That” (2014), “Silver Rain” (2015), “The Cartel” (2015), “Potato Potahto” (2017).

Joselyn Dumas was married and is divorced. She has a daughter, Senia.
