Tonto Dikeh is a Nigerian Actress. She came into limelight following her participation as a contestant on the Reality Television show, Next Movie Star where she emerged as first runner-up. In 2013, Tonto Dikeh won Film Actress of the Year at the 4th edition of the Exquisite Lady of the Year (ELOY) awards.
Born, Tonto Wigo Charity Dikeh on 9th June, 1985, in Port Harcourt. She attended Federal Government College, Port Harcourt for her secondary education, and Rivers State University of Science and Technology, from where she holds a degree in Petrochemical Engineering.
Following her stint in Next Movie Star reality TV show, Tonto Dikeh’s acting career kicked off in 2006. She has starred in over 100 Nigerian films. Tonto Dikeh is the third of five children and has two step-siblings from her father’s second marriage. She lost her biological mother at the age of three and was raised by her step-mother. In 2015, Tonto married Oladunni Churchill and together they have a son, Andre Omodayo Churchill (born, February 2016). The couple divorced in 2017 following allegations of domestic abuse. In the same year, Tonto joined Olori Wuraola Zaynab Otiti and other celebrities on a campaign walk to put an end to sexual and domestic violence against women.
