Simi Ogunleye is a Nigerian actor and musician. She was born as the last of four children on April 19, 1988 in Ojuelegba, Lagos. She attended Stars International College, Ikorodu, Lagos and Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State from where she holds a degree in Mass Communication. Popularly known as 'Simi', Ogunleye gained prominence as a singer and songwriter.

On January 9, 2019, Ogunleye married Nigerian highlife singer and songwriter, Adekunle Gold.
