Ime Bishop Umoh, famously known as ‘Okon Lagos’, is a Nigerian award winning comic actor. He came into limelight in the 2008 film, ‘’Uyai’’. He is known for ‘’Silent Scandals’’ (2009), ‘’Edikan’’ (2009), ‘’The Head Office’’ (2011), ‘’Vulcanizer’’ (2011), ‘’Okon Lagos’’ (2011), ‘’Udeme mmi’’ (2012), ‘’A Wish’’ (2012), ‘’Okon Goes to School’’ (2012), ‘’Sak Sio’’ (2012), ‘’Jump and Pass’’ (2013), ‘’The Place’’ (2013), ‘’Okon the Driver’’ (2014), ‘’Okon on the Run’’ (2014), ‘’Caught in the Act’’ (2014), ‘’Okon and Jennifer’’ (2015), ‘’Udo Facebook’’ (2015), ‘’The Boss is Mine’’ (2016), ‘’Love is in The Hair’’ (2016), ‘’Ayamma: Music in the Forest’’ (2016), ‘’Lost in London’’ (2017), ‘’Next Door’’ (2017), and ‘’Boss of all Bosses’’ (2018). In 2013, Umoh won the award for Best Indigenous Actor at the 2nd Nollywood Movies Awards for his role in ‘’Udeme mmi’’. In 2017, he won the award for Best Actor in a Comedy at the 5th Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for his role in ‘’The Boss is Mine’’.
Umoh holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Uyo. In 2016, he was appointed Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on Ethical and Social Orientation.
Umoh married Idara Bishop on 19th October 2013, and he has two children, daughters, Juanita (b. 2014), and Zoe (b.2017)
