After having suspicions that his wife was cheating, a one time best selling novelist, has a one-time affair with his editor as a form of revenge against his wife. Unknown to him, his editor is not emotionally stable. In the heat of an argument after he tried to break the relationship, she stabs herself, implicating him in the process. Whereas, his second novel in writing has a lot of resemblance to what has been going on in his own marriage and the end is not very pleasant.
