Osita Iheme is a Nigerian Actor known for “Spanner” (2002), “Aki na Ukwa” (2002), “Tom and Jerry” (2003), “2 Rats” (2003), “Mr. Ibu” (2004), “Reggae Boys” (2005), “Royal Messenger” (2006), “Stubborn Flies” (2007), and “The Mirror Boy” (2011). In 2007, Iheme received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 3rd Africa Movie Academy Awards; and in 2014, he received the award for Best Actor in A Comedy Film at the 2nd Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for his performance in “The Hero”. In 2011, Iheme was honored by the Federal Republic of Nigeria as Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
Born on February 20, 1982, in Aba, Abia State, Iheme hails from Mbaitoli, Imo State. He holds a degree in Mass Communication from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
Iheme began his career in the early 2000’s and was often type casted as a child due to his stature. In 2002, he rose to prominence alongside Chinedu Ikedieze as the diminutive comedic duo of Aki and Pawpaw, in the film, “Aki na Ukwa”.
