Bob Manuel Udokwu is a Nigerian Actor known for ''Living in Bondage'' (1992), ''When the Sun Sets'' (1993), ''Rattle Snake'' (1995), ''Outkast'' (2001), ''Games Women Play'' (2005), ''Games Men Play'' (2006), and ''Adesuwa'' (2012). He rose to prominence as Richard Haastrup in the TV soap ''Checkmate''. In 2013, Udokwu received a nomination for Best Actor in A Supporting Role at the 2nd Nollwood Movies Awards for his performance in ''Adesuwa''; and in 2014, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards. Udokwu is a Nollywood veteran and one of its pioneers.
Born in Enugu on April 18, to Joy Udokwu (a trader) and Godfrey Udokwu (a retired civil servant). Udokwu is a native of Ogidi, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State. He attended St. Peter’s Primary School, Ogbeifa, Enugu, and Oraukwu Grammar School, Oraukwu, Anambra State. Udokwu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt; and a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Lagos. At the University of Port Harcourt, Udokwu served as the National President of the Nigerian University Theatre Arts Association, and was the coordinator of NYSC drama club during his service year in Oyo State.

Udokwu is currently the Senior Special Adviser on Movie/Entertainment to the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano.
